It’s my little girl’s birthday! Ok, she isn’t little anymore. She is now 12 and officially taller than me too. This year she asked for a chocolate cake peanut butter icing. Simple request! I used my dark chocolate cake recipe to make the cake.
2 c Peanut Butter
1/2 c Butter
3 1/2 c Powder Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla
1/2 c Milk (Might need more)
Whisk all ingredients together to form a nice icing. This is a buttercream type icing and if it gets too warm the icing will get soft and melt off.
This recipe is very similar to my fudge recipe. Except the milk. With that being said it’s has a fudge texture to it and is heavy. I don’t suggest using this for a layered cake. Can use decorating if you don’t hold bag for too long to warm up the icing.
