This is a fun and tasting recipe. Derek and Little man love pizza! I think they would get pizza for every meal if they could. Well they might not be that bad. This bread allows me to have a break from pizza at least a little. Best part of making this bread is you can make how ever you like. If you normally get a supreme pizza then you can make it that way or if you like a meat lovers pizza. It is simple and easy to adjust for you preference.
2 tsp Yeast
1 1/2 c warm water
3 1/2 cup Flour
2 tsp Salt
1 1/2 Tbs Sugar
2 cups Mozzarella cheese
1/2 c Parmesan Cheese
1Topping: Pepperoni, Bacon, Sausage, Ham, Chicken, Onion, Mushrooms, Olives, Peppers, Banana Peppers, Tomatoes, Pineapple (Some ingredients that are wet might need dried some before adding to dough)
Marinara Sauce For Dipping
Mix water, yeast and sugar in bowl. Let sit for a few minutes. Allows for the yeast to activate. Add Flour and salt. Mix together. I used my Kitchen Aid but it’s not needed. This mixes easy.
Add the toppings and mix well. Dough will be a little sticky. Allow the dough to rise for an hour.
Add cheeses. Form the dough into a loaf.
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. This is a good time to use that pizza stone.
Bake for 30-35 minutes. Half ways through cooking brush the olive oil onto the loaf.
Serve sliced with marinara sauce for dipping.
This recipe makes a huge loaf! You can always divide it in half and make two loaves. If you divide the dough before you mix in the toppings then you can make two different kinds. That’s usually how we make it here.
